- Lincoln Cafe Mt. Vernon. During the harvesting months, maybe June through late September, we use up to 90 percent local vegetables. All of our eggs are local and we use local meats when the quality is good. We use approx 7-8 farmers during the summer and get random local veg from Mount Vernon citizens’ gardens.
